Houston, February 26, 2024 – Thorovet LLC, an equine veterinary practice management software company, today announced the resignation of Lloyd C. Schwing, Chairman of the Board/CEO. The Board of Directors expresses its gratitude for Mr. Schwing’s dedicated service and leadership during his tenure.
Lloyd Schwing formed Thorovet LLC in 2012 and played a crucial role in creating an innovative cloud-based practice management system. With his vision and guidance, the company developed a product that is easy to use and streamlines the operations of an equine veterinarian practice.
Mr. Schwing and his wife, Mrs. Laura Fortin Schwing, will spend their time between their home in Houston, Texas and their farm in Simpsonville, Kentucky where they have expanded their thoroughbred breeding and racing operations.
Craig Findley is currently filling the role as Interim CEO.
